Usually I don't think of purple and green together, but then nature goes and does it perfectly. Beautiful shot.

Yes, I believe those are lupins.

I read somewhere in the blogsphere that there are 700 kinds of lupin. The larger dark purple with a bit of white smell like grape bubblegum
