Ray Bradbury At Monrovia Public Library

Ray Bradbury delivers the keynote address last Saturday as part of the opening celebration for the new Monrovia Public Library.  He spoke in the Community Room to an overflow crowd and then stayed to sign books for those waiting to meet him.

Ray Bradbury was a perfect choice to be a part of opening day at the library.

I AM SO thrilled you got to see him!
I know he wrote a lot but since 14 or so, Remembrance has been one of my favorite poems

Oh Tash, that poem. I love it, too.
I envy you, because you've had this wonderful opportunity to meet Ray Bradbury. He is one of my fav authors.

How cool to see him in your photo! Many, many years ago, I went to college with his daughter, Sue Bradbury. Even though she talked about her father being a writer, I didn't put 2 and 2 together until I asked her what his name was, and she said, "Ray." Funny! Anyway, such an interesting person. It's nice to see your photo.
