Did you put a penny on the tracks? could you hear a train coming? This reminds me of a shot I used in my Louise Bourgeios post when I did a wee video of the Metro Gold Line. Yours is better.

Pas Adj: No penny on the tracks. I don't think the tracks are used at all at the moment - waiting for the Gold Line.

Jacob: I didn't lay down. I set the camera down and just tilted it back a bit. Autofocus is a wonderful thing.

Thank you all! It means a lot that this one got this much of a reaction. I've had the photographer's equivalent of writer's block lately, so this is encouraging.

Altadenahiker: I agree. R/R tracks represent nostalgia and a sense of wanderlust. For them to be there unused is sad.
