City Daily Photo Theme Day: Paths And Passages

This is a view of the Bill Cull Trail (path) taken from the parking lot in front of the Nature Center in Monrovia Canyon Park.  If you click on the photo for a larger version, you can see a couple of hikers enjoying the nice weather heading south on the trail.

How lovely this must be - just the word Trail draws me in. Beautiful colours.

I see them but had to click on the enlarged view. It looks like a special place to walk with a friend or two. In these days or times I would guess walking there alone might be a problem. It would be a traveled highway at night. I wonder what kinds of animals use it then?

I wrote in my Memories blog about the roads of my youth and how they were to travel in the winter time.

I guess those walkers would have been well rewarded with a lovely view.

Now in my youth, I would have found this inviting.

Nice one, Keith. It gives an idea of the natural beauty around here.
That's a wonderful choice of path wy. You could swallow my island up in this.

Thank you, everyone!

Abe: All kinds of animals use the trails: deer, mountain lion, bear, bobcat and others. It is always best to hike with a friend.
