These statues are done in duplicates and brought over from China. It's a way cities get around the act of commissioning local artist with the cities art budget. That budget was put in place to support local artists in the spirit of the WPA commissions. We are part of the economy and we use that budget to hire locals to make that vision happen. ok I'm done
