So they actually enforce the laws in this area and let the rest of town slide? It should just say "we make the effort to do are job in this small area." We have "Accident Reduction Area" signs in Minneapolis. I guess you can reduce accidents by posting signs. In reality, I know it means that the area is poorly designed and I should pay attention or avoid it. Oh well, we elected them, right? Thanks, - Mitch
The way traffic is before and after school, I don't need a sign to keep me away. Like you say, I'm sure it's hoped that the sign will be its own enforcement.
