The former Lucky's Supermarket pictured above on the left has been vacant for many years. Finally, according to the 02/29/2008 City Manager's Report, Henry's Market and other as yet unspecified businesses will be coming to the shopping center.

Bummer...I was sure hoping a nice large bookstore would go in there. I was just imagining what it would do to spruce up that area. Don't know anything about Henry's, but hopefully that whole strip of Huntington will look nicer after they come in.
I'm not familiar with Henry's either, but it's a pretty safe bet the area will look better. I'm tired of that empty lot.
Really?!? ANOTHER market?? I, too, would've liked the bookstore.
That strip mall certainly has room for a bookstore. Maybe one will follow? At least it's not another hair salon!
Seriously, we have more hair salons per capita in Monrovia than any other town I've ever lived in.
And has any one noticed that we're getting another yogurt place, Cherry on Top, in the Pavilion's strip mall?
That's great! I'm from San Diego where Henry's is a very popular and reasonable place to get good produce and natural bulk foods. Do you know when the expected opening is?
I don't know when it's expected to open. In fact, the "for lease" sign is still there and from the outside it doesn't look like anything is happening yet.
