First up, AD and the Soul Co. (R&B/Blues) kicked things off Saturday night at the Station Square Amphitheater adjacent to the Monrovia Gold Line Station.
A very nice setting to enjoy some live music. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy.
It cooled down by concert time with a nice breeze. There's a temporary dance floor set up in front of the stage if you want to dance.
Like I said, a nice setting that's just going to get better. Above: a water and light feature at the park, the Monrovia Depot current being rehabbed and a nice sunset to accompany the music.
Sunday night, Time Bomb (Rocking hits of 1975 - 1985) took over the Monrovia Library Park bandshell in the heart of Old Town Monrovia.
You're gonna need a bigger dance floor.
There is also a 3rd set of concerts on Wednesday nights at the Station Square Amphitheater held in partnership with the Levitt Pavilion.
