Night 1 of the 2018 Monrovia Days celebration got off to a great start.
Rides, games, food, beer garden, info booths, entertainment and a good-sized crowd.
The parade is tomorrow, Saturday, May 19th at 10am.
The carnival continues through the weekend.

Updated May 23rd with additional photos.

A beautiful evening for a carnival.  The giant Ferris wheel catching the last bit of sunshine.

Looking out at some of the festivities from the front of the library.

A couple of the spinning rides set up in Library Park.

Monrovia High School Robotics.

Reflection.

Tickets were the hot ticket.

The best seat in the house.  A fountain, carnival lights, and a nice sunset.
A great event.  Find some time this weekend to stop by and check it out.
Happy Birthday, Monrovia!

Fun shots! I haven't been out on rides like that since the fall fairs in the towns near where I grew up. I did have to look up where Monrovia is.
