Williams Fire 2012 Above Azusa / Glendora

Click photo for larger view.

An unfortunate combination of smoke from a devastating forest fire mixed with the wonder of a colorful sunrise.  The smoke from the Williams fire can be seen filling the bowl shaped indentation in the mountains on the left side of the photo.

The fire has burned approximately 4,000 acres in the Angeles National Forest so far and is only about 5% contained.

Not a Monrovia based photo, thank goodness, but it can be seen and smelled around town.
