2011 Walk To End Alzheimer's - Los Angeles


Not Monrovia, but Century Park in Los Angeles.  I went early this morning to take part in the 2011 Walk To End Alzheimer's event.

That's Steve Edwards on the left, here for his 16th year as emcee of the event.
In the center are newlyweds Lauren Miller and Seth Rogen, taking an active role in the walk and the fight against Alzheimer's.

You went this year! How good of you. I hope the research into beating this horrible illness progresses at a rapid pace. Two years ago, my former piano teacher (a wonderful musician/actress/playwrite/composer) also succumbed to Alzheimer's in her later 60s. Heartbreaking.
