yes indeed,
I tend to avoid mid day hikes for the change of light the evenings bring. Plus my camera doesn't do well with high contrast images.
This was probably between 10:30 and 11am. While it wasn't that early morning / early evening light, this spot really stood out. Others I took suffered from the time of day more than this one.
