Station Square Ground Breaking Ceremony - Monrovia California
The ground breaking ceremony for Monrovia's Station Square took place this morning at 10 am.
A ladder truck from station 101 was there displaying a giant American flag.
The sun was shining, the temperature was rising and the flag provided some welcome shade.
The was a good crowd on hand for the ceremony that took place in the parking lot in front of the old Santa Fe Depot.
Hard hats and shovels ready for the ground breaking.
The unveiling of the sign with images of what the completed project will look like.
Construction to be completed at the end of 2015.
The Mayor and City Council and the actual breaking of ground.
