Monrovia Canyon Park Closed Over 4th Of July

Monrovia Canyon Park is currently closed for the 4th of July holiday.  The park will be closed through Friday (Wed. thru Friday).

The park is closed not only to vehicle traffic but foot traffic also.  No entry at all into the park for the next 3 days.

I find it strange that information on this park closure was available, until now, absolutely nowhere. If ever there was a city department that could benefit from social media, it would be Community Services.  And yet, nothing.
