Benefit Concert for Kid Ramos This Sunday, October 7th
Many of you may remember Kid Ramos when he and Los Fabulocos played an amazing set and helped make the inaugural Monrovia Cinco De Mayo Festival such a success. Now, he's fighting a serious illness and could use our prayers and help.
This Sunday in nearby Covina, an incredible lineup of bands are playing a benefit concert at Nick's Taste of Texas (545 N. Citrus Ave. Covina, CA - right next to the railroad tracks). Among the many bands playing are Los Fabulocos, Monrovia's Delgado Brothers and one of my all-time favorites - The Blasters. The benefit runs from 1pm to 9pm. If you can make it Sunday, stop by to enjoy some great music, have something to eat and offer your support.
