Christmas Window Display - The Irish Gardener
Monrovia stores have so many great holiday window displays. This Christmas display can be found at The Irish Gardener in Old Town Monrovia. Very well done!

Inside The Big Top
Inside the big tent of Circus Vargas now appearing in the south parking lot of the Santa Anita Race Track in Arcadia through December 5th.
This photo was taken during the 15 minute intermission. They're setting up the net for the trapeze artists about to perform.
It's a good show. Very family oriented and no animals. If you have kids, get there early. The kids are invited into the center ring before the show to take an active role in learning how to be a circus performer.
If it's cold out, dress appropriately. There's no heat inside and it can get pretty cold.
Parking is $4.00.

Monrovia Wildcat Pride
The grand opening of the newly refurbished high school was held last night. I wasn't there but you can read about it and see lots of photos from the school tour on the Monrovia Patch website.

Ramp Closed...Maybe
Nice sign. Maybe it could be replaced it with a clean and accurate sign. This photo was taken November 10th. The ramp also hasn't been closed every night.
A place online where the closure info is dependably correct would be good too.

Pottery Ranch - Front View
Since it is going to be torn down soon, here's another photo of the Route 66 landmark Pottery Ranch. This time a front view across Huntington Drive with some nice early morning light.

Filming "Crush" In Monrovia Canyon Park
A lot of people saw the filming going on in Old Town last week and the beginning of this week, but they were also up in Monrovia Canyon Park filming for the movie. This was taken Monday afternoon and the location is the check dam at the start of the waterfall trail.
The movie: "Crush" by Intrepid Pictures.
